Analisis Kata Sifat dan Kata Kerja dalam Cerita Pendek “A Strangle Of Hope” Karya Shusi Essilent

Abstract
Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh hasil pengamatan pada karya
sastra berupa cerpen yang berjudul “Seuntai Harapan” karya Shusi Essilent. Fokus dalam penelitian ini adalah Adjektiva dan verba. Tujuan penelitian adjektiva dan verba pada cerpen “Seuntai Harapan” karya Shusi Essilent, karena adjektiva dan verba sangat penting untuk diketahui oleh setiap orang yang berkecimpung di dunia sastra. Hal ini juga dikhususkan untuk masyarakat awam yang terkadang tidak mampu membedakan adjektiva dan verba. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif. Berdasarkan hasil identifikasi di atas, maka dapat diketahui bahwa jumlah ajektiva 32 dan verba berjumlah 34 pada cerpen “Seuntai Harapan” Shusi Essilent “
