Penerapan Model Snowball Throwing Berbantuan Media Video Pembelajaran untuk Meningkatkan Kualitas Pembelajaran IPS

Abstract
Based on the results of reflection, it was found that there were problems with the low quality of social studies learning, namely the teacher's lack of skills in asking questions and making variations, lack of interest and motivation of students in learning, low social studies learning outcomes. The application of the Snowball Throwing model with the help of instructional video media is expected to improve the quality of social studies learning. The research objective was to improve social studies student learning outcomes through the Snowball Throwing model assisted by learning video media in class IV.A MI Negeri 7 Jakarta students. This type of research is classroom action research with the stages of planning, action, observation, and reflection. The research was carried out in 2 cycles in 1 meeting each cycle. The research subjects were teachers and students of class IV.A MI Negeri 7 Jakarta. Data collection techniques using test and non-test techniques. Data analysis used quantitative statistical analysis techniques and qualitative descriptive. The conclusion of this research is that through the Snowball Throwing model assisted by learning video media it can improve the quality of social studies learning for class IV.A MI Negeri 7 Jakarta. Suggestions for teachers are the Snowball Throwing model assisted by learning video media which is expected to be a solution in solving social studies learning problems and other subjects.
