Integrated and Sustainable Agriculture Journal Volume 1 Number 1 is proud to present our inaugural issue, which focuses on important issues in the field of integrated and sustainable agriculture. This edition presents five interesting articles that discuss various important topics, ranging from empowering women farmers, developing MSMEs, strategies for Arab chicken businesses, improving the quality of duck meat, to analyzing the production costs of salted fish fishermen.

The first article, "THE STRATEGY OF EMPOWERING WOMEN FARMERS TO SUPPORT URBAN FOOD SECURITY THROUGH THE SUSTAINABLE FOOD YARD PROGRAM" by Dilla Aldilla, Andi Nuddin, Yusriadi, and Suherman, explores the important role of women farmers in maintaining urban food security through the sustainable food yard program.

The second article, "COMPARISON OF KARASA CAKE UMKM INCOME: E-COMMERCE VERSUS CONVENTIONAL (CEMPA DISTRICT, PINRANG REGENCY)" by Yuliana, Darmawan, and Suherman, compares the income of KARASA cake UMKM in Cempa District, Pinrang Regency, between e-commerce and conventional sales systems.

The third article, "ARABIC CHICKEN BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT STRATEGY IN BARANTI, SIDENRENG RAPPANG USING THE I-E MATRIX APPROACH" by Hajar, Nurhapsa, and A. Erna Sri Wahyuningsih Mustafah, discusses the strategy for developing an Arabic chicken business in Baranti, Sidenreng Rappang, using the I-E matrix approach.

The fourth article, "ADDITION OF TARO LEAF FLOUR IN RATION ON THE WATER CONTENT AND COOKING LOSS OF MOJOSARI DUCK MEAT" by Jumaidil, Rahmawati Semaun, and Rasbawati, examines the effect of adding taro leaf flour in ration on the water content and cooking loss of Mojosari duck meat.

The fifth article, "THE EFFECT OF PRODUCTION COST ON THE INCOME OF SALTED FISH FISHERMEN (KUPA VILLAGE, MALLUSETASI DISTRICT, BARRU REGENCY)" by Andi Sri Ulfiah, Darmawan, and Nurhedah, analyzes the effect of production costs on the income of salted fish fishermen in Kupa Village, Mallusetasi District, Barru Regency.
