Publication Ethics
This scientific code of ethics statement is a statement of the code of ethics for all parties involved in the scientific journal publishing process in this journal, namely managers, editors, peer-reviewers, and authors. The affirmation of the scientific publication code of ethics is based on LIPI Head Regulation Number 5 of 2014 concerning the Scientific Publication Code of Ethics, which in essence the Scientific Publication Code of Ethics upholds three ethical values in publication, namely (i) Neutrality, which is free from conflicts of interest in publication management; (ii) Justice, namely granting copyrights to those entitled to be creators; and (iii) Honesty, namely free from duplication, fabrication, falsification, and plagiarism (DF2P) in publications.

Reviewers and Peer-review Process
All submitted papers were reviewed using a double-blind peer review process where advice was solicited on individual manuscripts from expert reviewers, available in the Peer Review Policy. Independent reviewers are selected by the Chief Editor who may be assisted by the Editorial Board as appropriate. Recommendations from reviewers are sent to authors by the Editor-in-Chief who is responsible for the objectivity of the assessment and review findings. Revised articles should be sent directly to the Editor-in-Chief. The Editor-in-Chief will make the final decision based on the reviewers' comments. Accepted articles will be available online after the process of a peer-reviewed journal. Plagiarism screening will be carried out using Turnitin. When an article has been accepted, the Chief Editor will notify the author in which edition the paper will be published.
Reviewers have the following responsibilities:
1) The reviewers assist the Editor in Chief and the Editorial Board in making editorial decisions and in improving the manuscript;
2) Reviewers who feel they are not qualified to provide a scientifically correct review within the allotted amount of time must immediately notify the Chief Editor so that alternative reviewers can be contacted;
3) Reviewers treat all manuscripts as confidential documents;
4) Reviewers must report the Chief Editor if they are aware of copyright infringement and plagiarism;
5) Reviews must be carried out objectively, and observations must be clearly formulated with supporting arguments;
6) Reviewers should not consider manuscripts in which they have a conflict of interest.

Plagiarism
“Plagiarism ranges from the unreferenced and unpublished use of others' ideas, including research grant applications to the submission under “new” authorship of full papers, sometimes in a different language” (COPE Guidelines on Good Publication Practices, available at: http://publicationethics.org/). Examples of plagiarism include using other people's ideas and/or language as if they were their own by quoting or using ideas without mentioning the source; paraphrasing; cutting and pasting internet-based material and/or submitting someone else's work as part of one's work.
Integrated and Sustainable Agriculture does not tolerate plagiarism of any kind and reserves the right to check all submissions with appropriate plagiarism check tools. The Turnitin software will be used by the Editorial Board to check the similarity of submitted manuscripts with existing literature. Submissions containing plagiarism, in whole or in part, are automatically rejected. If plagiarism is discovered after publication, we will follow the guidelines of the Retractions, Corrections, and Concern Statement sections of this PEMS document. The Editor-in-Chief and the Editorial Board will take all necessary and reasonable steps to identify plagiarism and prevent the publication of papers in which infringements occur. The Editor-in-Chief and the Editorial Board will not, under any circumstances, encourage or willfully condone such violations.
Retractions, Corrections, and Expressions of Concern
The Editor-in-Chief and the Editorial Board will take Retractions, Corrections, and Expressions of Concern in line with COPE’s guidelines (http://publicationethics.org/). If an author has made an error, the journal will issue a corrigendum. If the journal has made an error, this will issue an erratum. Retractions are just reserved for articles that are seriously flawed and their findings and conclusions should not be relied upon. The publisher as well as the Editors are always willing to publish corrections, clarifications, retractions, and apologies when needed.
If the journal’s publisher or editors are made aware of any allegation of research misconduct, they will deal with such allegations immediately and inform all parties involved. In all cases raised, the Editors will follow COPE’s associated guidelines.
