Integrasi Smartphone Terstruktur dalam Pembelajaran Matematika: Pengaruhnya terhadap Pemahaman Matematis dan Motivasi Belajar Siswa

Penelitian ini mengkaji pengaruh integrasi smartphone terhadap pemahaman matematis dan motivasi belajar matematika siswa pada jenjang pendidikan menengah. Studi ini menguji apakah penggunaan smartphone yang diarahkan secara pedagogis berkontribusi terhadap capaian pembelajaran kognitif maupun afektif. Desain kuantitatif korelasional diterapkan pada 57 siswa kelas X yang dipilih melalui teknik simple random sampling. Data dikumpulkan menggunakan tes pemahaman matematis yang telah divalidasi dan angket motivasi belajar matematika setelah satu semester pembelajaran berbasis smartphone. Uji prasyarat menunjukkan bahwa data memenuhi asumsi normalitas dan linearitas. Analisis regresi linear sederhana menunjukkan bahwa integrasi smartphone secara signifikan memprediksi pemahaman matematis (β = 2,514; t(55) = 0,049; p < 0,05; R² = 0,068) dan motivasi belajar matematika (β = 0,020; t(55) = 0,039; p < 0,05; R² = 0,058). Meskipun proporsi varians yang dijelaskan tergolong moderat, temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan smartphone yang terstruktur memberikan kontribusi bermakna terhadap keterlibatan konseptual dan pengembangan motivasi. Penelitian ini memperkaya literatur dengan membedakan secara empiris antara integrasi pedagogis yang terstruktur dan penggunaan smartphone tanpa kendali, serta dengan mengkaji secara simultan luaran kognitif dan motivasional. Implikasi terhadap integrasi teknologi dalam pendidikan matematika dibahas lebih lanjut.
