About the Journal
The Indonesian Journal of Teaching and Learning (INTEL) is designated as such to accurately represent our global publication portfolio and readership. Contributions do not have to be comparative, meaning they do not have to compare education features in other countries or cultures. They also do not have to solely report research conducted in one specific place or cultural environment. Contributions to the INTEL must be intellectually stimulating, make significant contributions to educational research, and engage a diverse readership with different areas of expertise. Hence, contributions must possess the following characteristics:
Effective dissemination of the research findings or arguments;
This study provides a crucial analysis of how the literature directly pertains to the examined issue;
Robust theoretical, intellectual, or philosophical framework;
The methodology and analysis are clearly articulated, enabling the study to be replicated in different circumstances;
Analyse the situation critically and provide recommendations and implications for future research, policy, and practice in a given environment.
INTEL advocates for parity, integration, and variety in research and education within our editorial team and throughout author and reviewer networks. In line with our dedication to open access and inclusivity principles, the journal invites early-career researchers who adopt innovative research approaches to submit their contributions as long as they align with the journal's objectives and focus.
Please be aware that we only consider conceptual or theoretical articles that are well-organized and coherent. INTEL will consider evidence synthesised, provided the research followed a methodical methodology in selecting and presenting the evidence. INTEL will also establish procedures for future work that has not yet produced data. Typically, these protocols reference randomised controlled studies, quasi-experimental trials, or evidence syntheses. We will also examine protocols for qualitative research design.
