Optimalisasi Pemanfaatan Alat Peraga Matematika Guna Mendukung Proses Deep Learning di Kota Magelang

Abstrak
Pembelajaran matematika pada jenjang Sekolah Menengah Pertama (SMP) masih menghadapi kendala yaitu masih terbatasnya media pembelajaran matematika. Kondisi tersebut belum sesuai dengan tuntutan paradigma pembelajaran deep learning yang menekankan pemahaman konseptual mendalam. Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk mengoptimalkan pemanfaatan alat peraga disusun sesuai dengan tingkatan berpikir siswa, sehingga dapat menunjang proses pembelajaran bermakna. Metode pelaksanaan meliputi survei kebutuhan sekolah, perancangan dan produksi alat peraga, serta pendampingan implementasi. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi dan kuesioner. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan alat peraga matematika mampu meningkatkan keaktifan siswa dan ketertarikan pembelajaran. Selain itu, siswa merasa pembelajaran matematika menjadi lebih menarik. Kesimpulan dari program ini adalah optimalisasi pemanfaatan terbukti efektif dalam mendukung pembelajaran interaktif, bermakna, dan berorientasi pada deep learning, sehingga layak direkomendasikan untuk diterapkan lebih luas.
