Agphin Ramadhan agphin@unj.ac.id Open Journal Systems
The Journal of Engineering Education and Pedagogy (JEEP) is an open, peer-reviewed online journal published twice a year (June and December) on articles concerning engineering education and vocational education, covering both formal and informal technical education and training. Teachers, lecturers, educators, practitioners and researchers are invited to discuss their research, experiences, ideas and perspectives in engineering and vocational education.
https://journals.eduped.org/index.php/JEEP/article/view/1454 Comparison of Steel Construction Costs Between AHSP and Conventional Method at Padalarang Bandung Steel Warehouse 2025-05-14T07:36:20+00:00 Widsri Palamba widsri.palamba@ukrida.ac.id Hans Dermawan hansdermawan23@gmail.com
Estimating costs too high can burden the project budget, while estimating costs too low can lead to budget shortfalls during implementation. Therefore, optimal planning is necessary, one of which is by comparing construction cost estimates using the AHSP method with conventional calculations from consultants to provide insights into the accuracy and efficiency of both methods in the context of a steel warehouse project. Steel construction has many advantages such as shorter construction duration, a high strength-to-weight ratio making the structure lighter yet still strong, and so on. The research method uses quantitative analysis to estimate the budget plan for steel work by referring to AHSP Cipta Karya and Housing SE Director General of Construction Development No. 68/SE/Dk/2024 and comparing it with the estimates from the consultant. The calculation results show that the more economical estimate for the steel construction work is the conventional calculation from the consultant. The calculation results show that the AHSP estimate is approximately 30.16% higher. This is due to the higher material and equipment costs in the AHSP compared to the consultant's estimate. The suggestion for further research is to conduct calculations on other works, to show the overall construction costs.
2025-06-28T00:00:00+00:00 Copyright (c) 2025 Widsri Palamba, Hans Dermawan https://journals.eduped.org/index.php/JEEP/article/view/1561 Kajian Pola Operasi MRT Jakarta Berdasarkan Okupansi Penumpang 2025-06-28T06:13:59+00:00 Mahyuddin Hizbulloh Alwahdi mahyuddin.mtp2140401@taruna.ppi.ac.id Safrudin Kurniawan safrudin@ppi.ac.id Galang Febry Andana galang@ppi.ac.id
The Jakarta Mass Rapid Transit (MRT) system is a rail-based public transportation network developed to address traffic congestion and overcrowding in the Greater Jakarta area. As the city's population continues to grow, public mobility is expected to increase significantly. This study aims to propose an operational pattern for PT MRT Jakarta in the year 2028, based on projected passenger demand. The research utilizes secondary data obtained from PT MRT Jakarta, including the MRT Jakarta feasibility study, passenger volume data, rolling stock information, and the existing Train Operation Schedule. Based on the analysis of travel demand, the minimum headway during peak hours is determined to be 3.5 minutes. The rolling stock requirement analysis indicates the need for 25 trainsets, each comprising 6 cars. Of these, 22 trainsets will be operated during peak hours, while 3 trainsets will be reserved for backup and maintenance at the MRT Jakarta depot. Furthermore, the frequency analysis estimates a total of 34 train trips per hour.
2025-06-29T00:00:00+00:00 Copyright (c) 2025 Mahyuddin Hizbulloh Alwahdi, Safrudin Kurniawan, Galang Febry Andana https://journals.eduped.org/index.php/JEEP/article/view/1660 Pengaruh Kualitas Pelayanan dan Harga Tiket terhadap Niat Beli Penumpang KA Jayabaya Kelas Ekonomi New Generation 2025-07-29T06:13:51+00:00 Novi Navisa novinavisa@gmail.com Sapto Priyanto sapto@ppi.ac.id
In the era of rapid transportation and technology, people tend to choose efficient and economical means. PT KAI is adapting to meet these expectations, especially in improving the comfort of Economy class trains. Jayabaya train ticket prices, before becoming Jayabaya new Generation train, are the main driver of customer satisfaction. Price sensitive for consumers becomes a critical aspect in attracting customers. The addition of facilities on this train caused a tariff increase of Rp. 30.000,00. This study aims to analyze the effect of service quality and ticket prices on the interest in buying passengers Jayabaya new Generation Economy Class. This quantitative research uses the independent variables of service quality and ticket prices, as well as the dependent variable purchasing interest. Data were collected through questionnaires and secondary data from the number of passengers and ticket prices for Jayabaya new Generation economy class train. The method used is binary logistic regression. The results of data analysis using IBM SPSS Statistics 27 showed that the quality of Service (X1) does not partially affect the interest in buying passengers Jayabaya new Generation Economy Class (significance value 0.628 > 0.05). In contrast, the ticket price (X2) has a partial effect on the interest in buying Jayabaya economy class new Generation passengers significantly (significance value 0.003 < 0.05). Simultaneously, the quality of Service and ticket prices have a significant effect on buying interest (significance value 0.001).
2025-06-30T00:00:00+00:00 Copyright (c) 2025 Novi Navisa, Sapto Priyanto
